Marlene + Glenn = Engaged (and will be married today!)

Their love has been a whirlwind romance from a distance.  She’s on the East Coast, and he’s on the West Coast.  But finally Marlene has moved out here to be with her love and they are both soooo excited and soooo in love.  We barely squeezed their engagement session in before the wedding so I haven’t been able to do a full post.  In honor of their San Francisco wedding today, here’s one of my favorites of Marlene & Glenn.

raquel + horacio = engaged!

I had such a great time with Raquel and Horacio shooting in San Francisco for their engagement session.  They are so in love and so adorable together, seriously.  While we were galavanting around the city, we even heard this group of women say, ” They are so adorable it is disgusting!” – That made us all laugh.  Thanks to Raquel’s brother and sister-in-law for setting them up because they are a perfect match.  Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in August.

Rosaura - Thank you Barbara! :) We for sure got lucky on the F Line! :)

Barbara Yasuhara - LOVE El Parque Dolores! How on earth did you get that F Line Stopped….LOL! Great luck, it’s usually the J Church line and them yucky newer trains. Nice stuff!

julie - That hangin on the railing train image is so fun!

Matthias Giezendanner - The third from the top is amazing. Fantastico!

Krystiana – sneak peek

I had the pleasure to photograph Krystiana just for fun.  She is an adorable, smart, petite, athletic aspiring model.  We had a fun time getting to know each other and playing around with different locations and concepts.  Here’s one of my favorites from our time together using off-camera lighting techniques.  More to come…

logan walker - wow rosaura! this is wonderful! great work, I am excited to see more!

rosaura - Hi Jay!

Thanks so much for the comment, really appreciate it! :) I used one light, my 580ExII, to camera right through a softbox with my 24mm. Try it, it is super fun. Hope that helps and let me know how it goes! :)

rosaura - Hi Brianna! You absolutely made my day! Thank you soooo much! :)

Brianna Phelan - Uhmm, hello! Perfect jump shot. Best one I’ve seen ever.

Jay Hoque - Hi there, came across your blog through Apresh Chavda’s profile on Facebook.

I have to say your woek is amazing.. especially this shot!

What set up did you use, if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m gonna try it out next time I have location shoot.

Gemma at Daycare

People often say to me, “You must have a bunch of great photos of Gemma!”   Ironically, I don’t have many great shots of her.  For me she’s the hardest person in the world to photograph.  She’s constantly moving or wanting me to play with her and, of course, I comply.  Last week I took her tutu with me when I picked her up at daycare.  I decided I was gonna practice and try to get some good shots of my Gemma.  She was in her comfort zone at daycare so she just did her thing.  Thank you to Sonia, our amazing daycare provider, who let us stay late to get some shots.  Enjoy this impromptu session.
