The first one is very bright, even for a night shot. But the second one is more polished and sleeker. Either way, thank you so much Rose for the experience. I think that this capture portrays a conservative, yet adventurous couple living and surviving in a demanding sophisticated modern world. Plus, having the Bay Bridge as our background is magnificent. In my inane opinion, it represents a connection between work and home, west and east, land and sea, Katia’s heart and mine. I believe that the contrast of the first photo reveals unwanted blur, yet I agree with natural exposure. In the second photo, the contrast of the robust dark sky allows us and the landmark to stand out in a perfect balance. I like how the quay points at us and the water visualizes a calm feeling having the Bay Bridge as our witness. So, this capture in various ways is perfect and I love it.
